We just made your daily tracking and the use of Lifesum on your iOS device much easier. With a number of new Siri commands you can now access multiple parts of Lifesum using only your voice!
What are the new Siri features and how can I set them up?
- Track "Same as yesterday".
Log the same meal from yesterdays dinner(or breakfast/lunch/snack) today as well, simply by saying: "Log the same dinner as yesterday in Lifesum". - Check your daily remaining calories.
By saying: "Today's remaining calories in Lifesum" you will receive the information about how many calories you have left to eat today. - Check your remaining daily protein intake.
By saying: "Protein left to eat in Lifesum" you will see the amount of protein you have left to eat for today. - Get suggested recipes to help you reach your daily calorie goal.
By saying: "Suggest recipes within my calorie limit in Lifesum" you will be sent to the Recipe tab in Lifesum where recipes matching your remaining calories are suggested for you. - Get suggested recipes to help you reach your daily protein goal.
By saying: "Suggest recipes to meet my protein goal in Lifesum" you will be sent to the Recipe tab in Lifesum where recipes are suggested for you based on your remaining protein intake.
Other Siri shortcuts:
- Tracking water
If you go to Diary Settings -> Water Settings in the Lifesum app you will get the option to activate Siri for tracking water for the first time and have the possibility to customize the shortcut and the voice command by pressing "Add to Siri".
If you do so, a Shortcut is automatically created, and in this step you can also customise the phrase you would like to use with Siri by pressing "Change voice phrase".
- Tracking recipes
As soon as you add your first favorite recipe in Lifesum by clicking on the heart symbol in the top right corner you will get the option to activate Siri for tracking recipes as follows:
If you do so, a Shortcut is automatically created, and in this step you can also customise the phrase you would like to use with Siri by pressing "Change voice phrase".
When you track the recipe with Siri you will get directed to the recipe and can click the button to track it.
