Tracking your exercises in the Lifesum app helps you stay on top of your fitness goals by keeping a record of your physical activity and its impact on your overall health. Lifesum offers four different ways to log your workouts, making it easy to track your progress in a way that suits you best.

Ways to Track Exercises in Lifesum

1. Automatic Tracking with Partner Apps

Lifesum can automatically sync your workout data from connected apps and fitness trackers. Direct connections are available for Samsung Health and Health Connect, which also enables syncing with major fitness trackers like Oura, Fitbit, Google Fit, Runkeeper, and Withings.

2. Select Exercises from the Training List

Use Lifesum’s built-in exercise database to log your activity by selecting from a variety of preloaded workouts.

3. Track Custom Exercises from Favorites

If you have specific workouts that aren’t in the standard list, you can create and save them under Favorites for quick access.

4. Manually Add Burned Calories

For activities not listed in the app, you can manually enter the number of calories burned.

Step-by-Step Guide to Tracking Exercises

1. Automatic Tracking with a Partner App

  1. Open Settings and go to Automatic Tracking.
  2. Select Samsung Health or Health Connect and tap the corresponding button.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

2. Track Exercises from the Standard Training List

  1. Open your Diary and tap "+" (either at the bottom right corner or next to the "Exercise" card).
  2. Select Exercise and then tap Exercise List.
  3. Browse the list to find your activity.
  4. Tap it, edit the duration, and then tap Add to Diary to save it.

3. Track Exercises Using Favorites

  1. Go to the Progress tab and open Favorites.
  2. Select Exercises and find your custom workout.
  3. Tap it, edit the duration, and then tap Add to Diary to save it.
