Including, immune system, bone health, sight, skin, mucous membranes, protein metabolism, and nerve function, to name a few. When filling our plates with foods rich in nutrients, we help to support our bodies functions, which is vital for our wellbeing.

What if I have too much?
In general, people are not reaching the recommended amount of these nutritious food groups (vegetables, fruits and whole grains). If getting too high doses of any nutrients, it is in most cases due to taking too high doses of supplements, or taking supplements without having the need to.
